Trump vs. Press
The Trump Administration has an ongoing war with the press. Media Matters provides us with an ongoing list on multiple occasions where president Trump and his administration continue to attack the press. These attacks are unjust and unfair and in many different occasions pose threats to the First Amendment rights of freedom to press. Trump started these attacks during his campaign and has continued with them through his current administration. Because of his personal opinions Trump calls out news channels that comment on his presidency. Some of his bold attacks include calling CNN "fake news" on February 1st, which was only a few days after his inauguration. On February 5 Trump called out the NY Times. He called them "FAKE NEWS" and lost for "bad and inaccurate coverage" of him after the election. More recently on August 8th trump tweeted “Don’t Believe The Fake News Suppression Polls!” again attacking CNN and calling them for fake because of a CNN Poll t
